Infrastructure
Charcoal Production
Our charcoal unit is situated in the prime coconut shell procurement area, thus ensuring year round supply. We have 6 large pits 7’ in Diameter and 20’ in depth each and 3 large pits, 9’ in Diameter and 25’ in depth. Daily production capacity is 50MT, which is in excess of our stock needs for our own Activated carbon unit.
Activated Carbon Unit
With 2 rotary kilns installed, our annual production capacity is around 2000MT. We have an excellent post-activation section to meet any grade requirements and a state of the art laboratory that has stringent quality control procedures to make sure we meet our customer’s quality requirement.
Washing and Drying facility
Our washing facility is one the best around. We use compressed air for washing which ensures the washing is very uniform every time and we use UV tents for initial drying, the specially made poly-sheet traps heat inside and adequate ventilation ensure moisture is released.
Final drying is done using an advanced fluidized bed drying system consisting of a static and a Vibro drier.
Powder Carbon Unit
Our powder carbon manufacturing is truly world class with the best of equipment. We use an MPE crusher imported from USA, this advanced crusher enables us to precisely control the size distribution of the output, which is complimented by 12 deck Great Western Sifter which is also imported from USA and it has excellent screening efficiency, this is coupled with an automated packing system. We use a Malvern laser PSD in our lab to test results of powder carbon.
